Growing Up WILD at UT-Brownsville

Learn how to build on young children’s sense of wonder about nature and invite them to explore wildlife and the world around them. During the three-hour training workshop participants will sample activities and receive a curriculum and activity guide. Activities are designed for 3-7 year olds and are correlated to the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) Standards and the Head Start Domains. Teachers, informal educators and early childhood caregivers may take the training. 

  • SBEC and TEEAC Continuing Professional Education (CPE)
  • Wear comfortable shoes and bring water
  • An hour lunch break will allow you to get a healthy lunch at the Subway nearby

Preregistration required.  No refunds after the registration deadline.   Deadline: June 5, 2013

Registration fee is for WILD training.  WILD materials are distributed only with the requisite training.  Attendance and participation in the entire workshop are required to receive any of the materials, regardless of fee payment.
