Teach Children to Listen the First Time

October 20, 2020 

6:30- 8:30 pm CST

Description: Discover strategies to assist children in following simple rules, routines, and directions. Discover age-appropriate expectations for following directions. Implement proactive supports to teach children to follow directions the first time they are given. Content is exclusively owned by Behave Your Best, LLC.  

It is recommended that you have completed  "Pretend You Are a Light Switch! for Educators" prior to this training.

This is a Level 1 course for MNCPD (MN) and Gateways (IL)

  • Knowledge and Competency Framework Areas:II.C: Promoting Social and Emotional Development (2 Hours): MNCPD (MN)
  • CDA Content Areas: Content Area III: Positive ways to support children’ social and emotional development (2 Hours): MNCPD (MN) and Gateways (IL)

You MUST complete the pre-test before or during the first 15 minutes of the webinar, and the post-test by Friday at 3 pm in order to receive continuing education credit in your state's registry.

You will be sent 3 emails after registration:
1) Pre test and link to join the webinar.
2) Post test immediately following the webinar.
3) PowerPoint, a certificate of completion and the recording of the event upon completion of all requirements.
*All materials will be sent via email. Make sure to watch for emails from Behave Your Best, and check your junk/bulk email.
