Description: Some children may seem to rarely be “at their best”, are frequently upset or appear more challenging. When a child's brain receives too much input, it responds by protecting and shutting down which creates challenging situations in the group setting. Learn strategies and steps to teach children emotional control and behavior regulation in the group setting without needing to move the child to a "calming space" or "calming room".
