RIGHT TO KNOW INSPECTIONS

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

The Pennsylvania Worker and Community Right to Know Act created a system for communicating information about chemicals and the hazards associated with them.  This program will provide information on when, why and how insections are conducted and what must be done after an inspection occurs to maintain compliance.

OBJECTIVES

After viewing this presentation individuals will be able to:

  • Understand the importance of the Worker & Community Right to Know Law inspections. 
  • Define the main topics which are inspected.
  • Identify safe practices/procedures inspected. 
  • Identify the necessary information inspected in the program.
  • Undersand the steps of the Right to Know inspection process. 
  • Identify the areas at which inspectors will look for Right to Know violations.
  • Understand the criteria for assessing penalties under the regulations.
