• Determine the best methods for setting up a vehicle to ensure safe operation

• Understand what steps can be taken to ensure individual preparedness to enable safe vehicle operation during inclement weather

• Understand the importance of proper vehicle maintenance

• Understand the methods for safe vehicle operation in different types of weather situations (such as rain, snow, ice)

• Describe what additional steps are needed to operate a vehicle in winter conditions

• Understand the “Collision Prevention Formula”
