PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

To provide an understanding of how to share the space where we live or work with a variety of animals and wildlife to promote safe cohabitation.

OBJECTIVES

• Recognize the various animals and wildlife that live in our backyard.
• Assess the potential for injury and disease from spiders and ticks as well as
• a variety of other wildlife.
• Identify what causes animals and wildlife to be attracted to living in our backyards.
• Differentiate between venomous and nonvenomous snakes.
