Professional Development Meeting

Topic:
The Great Game of Business

APICS Tampa Bay invites local supply chain, operations management, transportation and logistics professionals to our "Top Management Night" Professional Development Meeting on June 13, 2017 from 5:30 to 8:00 PM at Bascom's Chop House, 3665 Ulmerton Road, Clearwater FL 33762.

Our guest speaker is Mr. David Buker of The Buker Group in Orlando, FL. David will be speaking on the topic of The Great Game of Business.

There have been many comparisons between Business and Sports.  Having a Game Plan, a Play Book, Scoreboards, Performance Measurements, Improving Performance, Involving the TEAM, Playing Above the Rim, Scoring and Winning, and much more.

They are all part of both Business and Sports. There are many interesting parallels here that can help you run and improve your Business. Why should we look at Business as a Game, because it produces better results, and it's much more fun.

Got a Problem?

Gather the TEAM.

Put an Incentive on It,

Keep the Score.

and

Watch it go away!

This presentation will show you how you can play the Great Game of Business in your company.  It will give examples of how other companies have played the Game.  It will also explain how one company used the Game to implement and improve its Total Supply Chain Performance by over 50%.  It's a great story.

Come and here stories about 50 years’ experience in Playing the Game of Business!
