The Pursuit of Economic Mobility in Charlotte

In 2014, a Harvard study found that out of 50 major metro areas in the U.S., Charlotte ranked last for economic mobility. The research, led by economist Raj Chetty, determined that neighborhoods significantly impacted one’s education, health, and opportunity to rise out of poverty.
