Guest Speaker: Erica D. Wright, Senior Director of Regional Government Relations, Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce

Erica serves as the Senior Director of Regional Government Relations for the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce. In this role, she works with elected officials to advance the Chamber’s local advocacy agenda in City of North Charleston, Town of Mount Pleasant, City of Goose Creek, City of Hanahan and Dorchester County.

Prior to this role, Erica served as the director of Charleston Young Professionals, a regional initiative designed to build community leaders through professional development, business connections and regional engagement.

Erica is a recipient of Charleston Regional Business Journal’s Forty Under 40 award, a Furman University Riley Institute Diversity Fellow, a former Honorary Commander at Joint Base Charleston and a graduate of Leadership Charleston. She was also named one of the 50 Most Influential People of 2017 by Charleston Business Magazine.

She holds a Bachelor’s in Integrated Marketing Communication from Winthrop University and a Master of Business Administration from The Citadel.

In his role as Development Manager, his efforts are focused mainly on multi million dollar mixed-use projects located in the Greater Baltimore/Washington, D.C., Richmond , VA and Charleston ,SC. Mr. Olson has a Bachelor’s in Marketing and Management from Davis and Elkins College in West Virginia.
