9/8/20 - Fall Prevention and the Importance of PPE

Join us for a half-day training to learn the basics of fall prevention and personal protective equipment. For fall prevention, we will focus on ladder safety and falls from elevation and the use of fall arrest systems. We will also focus on general PPE that can help prevent injuries in a variety of workplace settings. You will also have the chance to use virtual reality to test your skills at using a fall arrest system to keep you safe working 30 stories above a busy city street. The training is free but registration is requried.

This training is ideal for those working in general construction operations, including supervisors and forepersons.
This training is classroom-based and in person learning experience. This is a free half-day training taught by experienced Chesapeake Employers' Safety Management or Risk Management Consultants.
