Level Up .io API Workshop with Tenable

Join us for a Security workshop with Tenable! 

As you mature your vulnerability management program the need for automation and integration with other security solutions increase substantially. The RESTful api included with your Tenable.io subscription enables you to integrate and automate your vulnerability management program with ease.

In our time together, we will learn how to connect to the Tenable.io API to pull asset and vulnerability details. We will work with the Tenable.io export API to save data locally and then create a few helpful python scripts:

• Parse vulnerability data and save to CSV
• Create a Scan from the command line; for quick full remediation scans.
• Create Target Groups for custom Dashboards and focused Scanning based on:
  • Plugin ID
  • Text found in a Plugin Name
  • Text found in the Output of a Plugin

Please bring your own laptop for this workshop. Any major operating system will work (Windows, Linux, or Mac OS). Mobile devices like iPads or smart phones are not ideal for this workshop.
