California Elder Justice Summit

California Elder Justice Summit is an opportunity to advance the cause of elder justice in our state. Insightful plenaries and focused breakout sessions will examine obstacles and solutions in the areas of APS, Institutional Care, Caregiving, Access & Parity, and the Courts.

Patterned after and building upon the successful 2010 Elder Justice Summit, this invitation-only convening will bring together a broad group of elder justice professionals, advocates and policy makers to track progress accomplished since 2010, to follow-up on commitments made at the earlier event, and showcase innovative new programs and strategies. The end goal is to move closer to elder justice policy in California that is: 1) informed by state of the art research and evidence-based practice, 2) responsive to the needs of clients, consumers, and practitioners and can be uniformly implemented and enforced; and 3) aligned with state and federal goals, quality assurance mechanisms, and resources.
