Keynote Speaker

 Karlee Fain, AADP, LMT, KYT

Celebrity Health & Life Coach

"It's not about doing more, turning your world upside down, or being perfect. It's about being more uniquely you and leveraging that for ease and prosperity."

A WFS Conference favorite, Karlee Fain joins us as this year's Keynote Speaker. Karlee is the founder of Every Body Thrive, a soulful company that helps people with full lives learn what is never taught to us in school - how to operate from a place of balance and ease so you have more energy to do the things you love. Karlee blends soul with science, helping driven women get clear, focused, and to the next level in their career, health, and relationships. She will be infusing group and breakout sessions with her enthusiasm and vitality throughout the conference weekend, including co-facilitating a newly-revamped Welcome Ceremony with WFS President Karen Hamm, keynote presentation on Saturday morning, and plenary session on Sunday. Let It Go

What have you released from your life since entering recovery? What are you still holding on to? What positive things have filled the space created? This weekend will be an exploration of how to let go of that which no longer serves us and how to expand and grow healthfully into our new selves.

Level of Recovery 2 - Discarding Negativity

Statement 2 - Negative thoughts destroy only myself.
Statement 4 - Problems bother me only to the degree I permit.
Statement 9 - The past is gone forever.

All women in recovery from Substance Use Disorders are welcome to join us for this weekend celebrating the New Life Program! Enjoy time with 4C women and participate in presentations, workshops, discussion groups, and meetings all focused on building our New Lives. Look forward to:

  • 3 plenary sessions with this year's keynote speaker Karlee Fain, AADP, LMT, KYT
  • Choose from 13 unique workshops in our 4 breakout periods
  • 6 meals included in registration fee
  • Stay on the beautiful DeSales University campus
  • Expanded selection of activities for early arrivals
  • Annual Fundraising Auction on Saturday afternoon
  • WFS Meetings throughout the entire weekend

$55 additional charge to add Thursday night lodging ($75 for single room)

$85 additional charge for single room (shared bathroom)

Annual Fundraising Auction

A tradition since 1994, the WFS Annual Fundraising Auction is held on the Saturday afternoon of conference. Silent bidding kicks off Friday morning at 9:00 am, when donations begin to be dropped off. Items range from handmade, one-of-a-kind crafts to curated gift baskets to specialty items like signed WFS books or weekend getaways. Silent auction items close during the Coffee and Tea Social between 3:00 and 4:00 pm, then the live auction begins! Women who can't attend the conference and wish to contribute can mail items to: Women for Sobriety, PO Box 618, Quakertown, PA 18951. For large packages, please contact the office for the street address.

Lodging included in the Registration Base Fee is for a double room in Donahue Hall on the DeSales University campus. Dorm rooms are furnished with two beds, dressers, desks, and armoires. Each room has its own sink and mirror, and a toilet and shower room are shared between 2 rooms. Base Fee includes a shared room; you may choose a roommate or let us choose one for you. Single rooms are available for an additional charge; please note that toilet/shower area will still be shared with another guest.

Staying in the dorm is a fun way to bond with other attendees - and save a little cash. Women are seen visiting in common areas late into the night, and there are often meetings and other activities in the building. The number of rooms in Donahue Hall is typically suitable for our group; however, if many women request single rooms, overflow accomodations in another building may be neccessary. For women who prefer to stay in a hotel, a Day Pass rate is available this year.

Registration fees include six hot meals prepared by DeSales kitchen staff, with the exception of Sunday lunch, which is deli-style to allow women who need to leave right at noon to "grab and go." All meals listed on the Schedule of Events above are included in your registration fee, including the Pizza Party on Thursday night.

Coffee will be available in the dorm lobby throughout the weekend. Women often bring snacks and other goodies to share; buffet tables will be available in the lobby.
