Dinner Presentation

Sean Astin, actor, director and producer will present a message of inspiration!

This event, arranged by the Family Guidance Center, combines Sean's passion for running with his mental health advocacy inspired by mother, Patty Duke.

If you are interested in the "mind-body connection" or are a fan of Sean's work, you will want to be in the audience!

You may know Sean as Samwise Gamgee in the Lord of the Rings Trilogy; you may know him as Mikey Walsh in The Goonies; as the title character of the iconic Notre Dame football film Rudy; or, as Wynona Ryder's boyfriend in Stranger Things.

It was his personal life that led him to an insightful advocacy for the needs of people who suffer with mental health issues.

His athletic life led him to run in marathons.

His passion for both, will bring him to Wyomissing to share the presentation we call

Life: It's not a Sprint - IT'S A MARATHON

We want you to make the great mind -body connection at this uplifting and informative event.

Sean will be introduced by Mike Kuczala, a leading authority on physical activity and the brain-body connection.
