"Climate Change: Can Elders Make a
   Difference for our Grandchildren and
     Future Generations?"

Join Paul Severance (CSL), John Sorensen, Elli Sparks, and Leslie Wharton for a live online conversation on the future of our home, the Earth on Wednesday January 17th...

This Webinar will share what we know about the potential impacts of climate change in the lifetimes of our grandchildren.  We will focus on the critical role elders can play to make a difference, discussing options available to all of us, not only to take personal responsibility for our carbon emissions, but also to activate our powerful elder voices to bring about the national, state/provincial, and local policy changes that are essential.

Our panel consists of leading activists, who will discuss how the unique voices of elders can make an essential impact in preserving a livable planet, and options for how each of us can make a difference.

.PAUL, founder of Elders Climate Actionis a former chair for Sage-ing International and currently serves SI as our Administrative Coordinator.  Paul is a Certified Sage-ing Leader and co-founder of SI's Indianapolis Chapter.

LESLIE is current co-chair of Elders Climate Action & headed ECA’s 2016 "Elders Climate Action Day" in Washington, DC.  Grateful for the safety and security she's known, she wants to do all she can to ensure that her nephew and his children are protected from climate chaos in the future.

JOHN founded Conscious Elders Network, an educational, non-profit organization of vital elders addressing the demanding challenges facing us in the areas of social and economic justice, environmental stewardship, and sound governance.
ELLI serves as Field Development Director for Citizens’ Climate Education with Citizens Climate Lobby, helping to initiate expansion of the message in the United States.
CCL now has 456 Active Chapters throughout the USA, which she supports.

Reb Zalman Schachter-Shalomi, Sage-ing's founder, taught that consciousness and care of our Mother Earth, and "speaking for Her" are the work of Elders who have a heart for future generations. Paul, John, Elli, and Leslie have a vision for service both to our planet and to our grandchildren, whose home it will be.
