Changing Our Lens: Seeing Art with New Eyes

Join Impact 100 and the Cincinnati Art Museum (CAM) this fall for a virtual presentation and in-person museum tours, as we explore diverse perspectives on the museum's collection. On
Thursday, Oct. 28, from 6:30 to 8 p.m., Emily Holtrop, Director of Learning & Interpretation at CAM, will virtually provide a thought-provoking examination of the museum's permanent collection through the lens of diversity, equity, accessibility and inclusion. Holtrop will also provide a sneak preview of an exhibition of provocative and sometimes controversial works by African-American artist Kara Walker, opening at the museum on Nov. 5, 2021.

In the weeks following the virtual evening event, small-group tours will be held at the Cincinnati Art Museum, hosted by current and former Impact 100 Board members, to provide opportunities to engage directly with the art. It's a wonderful chance to connect with other members and more deeply explore and discuss the Museum's stunning collection of art.

In-person tours will include optional activities immediately following the tours, so participants can continue to socialize and discuss what they observed and learned.

Group size is limited, so register early!
