Muslim Day At The Capitol (MDAC) 2020

(Virtual Day At The Capitol)

In the name of Allah the most Gracious, the most Merciful

In light of all that is unfolding with the public health crisis, the Muslim American community has a unique opportunity to influence the current political atmosphere in the state of Minnesota. We must advocate for the needs of our community in light of the Corona crisis.
That is why the Muslim Day At The Capitol will move fully online this year. We are proud to host the Minnesota governor Tim Waltz  and lieutenant governor Peggy Flanagan. We will also be hosting the Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison well as many other speakers.
In these uncertain times it is our role as Muslims to strive to lead with courage and resilience and to represent the interests of our community in light of the current Corona crisis.

Event Outline:

      1. All attendees are invited to the virtual rally at 5:00 Pm.
      2. Faith agenda grounding is held at 6:20 Pm.
      3. Attendees divide into small groups to meet with their legislators about our faith agenda. We are making appointments on behalf of attendees as of now. Please check with your group leaders on your district appointments

The 16th Muslim Day at the Capitol (MDAC) is on Monday, April 20th , 2019 at 5 Pm.

You can help convey the concerns and needs of the Muslim community to our legislators.
