"People were coming and going in great numbers, and they had no opportunity even to eat.  Jesus said to them, 'Come away by yourselves to a deserted place and rest a while'" (Mk 6:30-32).  Our constant activity at the service of souls is taxing.  Christ calls us to rest in him.  Our hearts hear the call and desire to be alone with God so we can rediscover our first love. 

Find this space, both externally and internally, at our 10th annual Retreat for Priests!  Our Lady of Santa Clara Retreat Center offers an optimal setting with its scenic view of the Bay Area, nearby hiking trails, and comfortable facilities including spacious, personal bedrooms with complete bathrooms. 

Fr Thomas Vendetti will lead the retreat according to the themes of the Ignatian Spiritual Exercises, with a special emphasis on desire and discernment.  There will be times of prayer in common during the Eucharistic concelebratons and guided meditations, as well as ample private prayer so each one can make his own personal journey with the Lord. 

We will provide transportation to and from San Jose, San Francisco, or Oakland Aiports.  You may stay an extra day, for a fun, sight-seeing tour of the Bay Area on Saturday, January 13th.  If you would like to extend your retreat or would prefer to do a personal retreat at another time, please contact us for possible accommodations.
