Ivy League & Friends Undergraduate and Graduate Choctaw Student Recruitment Event
Ivy League & Friends is the 6th annual recruitment event for promising Choctaw students, select Native American education organizations, and representatives from the nation’s most selective undergraduate and graduate programs. Students and their parents can meet 1-on-1 with recruiters from these programs, share their experience and application materials (such as a student resume, test scores, and educational goals), and receive personalized advice and tips on applying.

Ivy League & Friends provides the country’s most selective universities and education organizations an opportunity to recruit talented Choctaw students preparing for college or graduate school.
This year’s Ivy League & Friends event will include: A full day of breakout sessions and an evening college and graduate fair on Saturday. The breakout sessions are a great way for students to learn about topics such as college planning, financial advice, and college prep tips and experience presentations from university representatives detailing each college and graduate program.
High school students, college students, or anyone interested in learning about admission to college or graduate school should attend.
How to Register: To successfully register to attend Ivy League & Friends, you must first be a member of SAP. If you have not completed the SAP application, you may sign up for the program here. SAP members may register themselves, as well as parent(s)/guardian(s) or other guests below.
The Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma’s Scholarship Advisement Program's Ivy League & Friends provides higher education institutions and organizations an opportunity to visit one of the largest Native American tribes in the country and recruit Choctaw students from diverse backgrounds and geographical areas.
This year’s Ivy League & Friends event will include: A full day of breakout sessions and an evening college and graduate fair on Saturday. In the breakout sessions, each attending representative will have the opportunity to present information about their institution to interested students and parents, and answer any questions attendees may have.
How to Register: Due to space constraints, Ivy League & Friends is an invitation-only event. The exclusive invitation includes registration instructions. If you have not received an invitation, contact Stephanie Gardner and you will be notified if spaces become available. For those who are not able to attend, don’t worry–there are many additional ways we can partner with your institution to recruit Choctaw students. Registration closes October 15. Institutions on the waiting list will be notified after this date if spaces become available.
