Animal-inspired, people-proven training
Designed to increase staff cohesion,
creativity and wholeheartedness

Do you need to build authentic alliances in your workplace?

It may be hard to believe looking at the photo, but this fox and German Shepherd—despite the impressive display of teeth— have developed a keen and lasting friendship. In nature as in the workplace, effective Fox and Houndcollaboration depends on trust, authenticity, and appreciation. If you've ever been a part of a high-performing team,  you know what it feels like. And if that's not your experience now, we know it can be frustrating. Nobody likes to be on the wrong end of a set of sharp teeth!

Despite their differences, Tinni (dog) and Sniffer (fox) forged an alliance based on core common traits and values. Our personalities and work styles vary but we all want to know our contribution to the team matters—and we perform better when we feel appreciated not in spite of our personality or style, but for it. So if you want your workplace relationships to resemble the type of relationship that understands the give and taken necessary, join us for The Fox & Hound.

This is your personal invitation to join other professionals eager to build cohesive, creative, wholehearted staffs/organizations by:

  • Identifying leadership styles with the Profiles Performance Indicator
  • Using accessible, enjoyable writing prompts to increase awareness, appreciation, and connection
  • Achieving alignment by acknowledging core commonalities
  • Developing strategies to remain appreciative of diversity
  • Encouraging authenticity by modeling it

You'll find the small group size and comfortable setting to be the ideal place to experience a new attitude about yourself and others. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to invest in yourself.

About the presenters
Robin and Leaf, Grace and Zuki

Robin Eichert and Leaf Seligman share a mutual desire to support individuals to be their best. Leaf draws on lessons gleaned over twenty years of teaching and ten years of congregational ministry while Robin brings 30 years of management expertise in hiring, job-fit, performance and leadership.

Both Robin and Leaf love animals and look to lessons that they can teach us about our own behavior. Pictured here with their own dogs, Grace and Zuki, the workshop format offers ways to see how any animal can open up possibilities for how you see the world and your role in it.

Here's what you can expect

"This was a fantastic day! The intimate class size was perfect and allowed us the opportunity to relate real life situations to behaviors by other managers and myself. There were several from our company who attended and we all felt it was time well spent.

-- Jennifer Ricardi, HR Manager, Teleflex Medical

Who should attend?

If you want to maximize self-awareness,  work performance and joyfulness on the job this event is for you. Whether you are

  • An executive or manager who wishes to lead more wholeheartedly
  • A business owner or leader with a desire to create a more cohesive team
  • A human resources professional seeking to increase job satisfaction and performance
  • An employee who wants to better understand and appreciate your work-style and that of others

this training will provide valuable insights, the opportunity to connect more deeply,  and take-away tools designed to foster creativity, cohesion and wholeheartedness.

About the day (and preparation for it)!

In preparation for this exciting day of learning, you will be asked to complete an online assessment prior to attending. The Profiles Performance Indicator will provide a wealth of personal information that allows you to have a complete understanding of your leadership style.

The assessment takes approximately 20 minutes to complete. In addition to reviewing the results the day of the training, you will receive numerous reports,  reference guides and support materials so this information will continue to be valuable, long after the workshop.

Our goals and objectives for the day

  • Identify personalities and work styles as discovered from the Performance Indicator assessment
  • Recognize that employees/managers share a common desire for belonging, purpose, and security through a series of accessible, enjoyable writing prompts
  • Look at how workers can be at odds with each other and/or the organization itself, then explore methods of alignment
  • Develop strategies to remain appreciative and mindful that differences in style don't nullify our commonalities.
  • Enjoy benefits of shared conversation with other open-minded, creatively engaged professionals
