About the presenters

Robin Eichert and Melissa Saari share a mutual appreciation for how animals can make us better people; they also understand and value the lessons that dogs can teach us about our own behavior.

Robin founded PeopleSense Consulting in 2001, combining her extensive management career with a passion for making people successful in the workplace. She has held senior management roles in publishing, educational, high-tech, and manufacturing industries and experienced the people issues first-hand (ranging from awesome to awful) that endure in businesses. She writes a popular blog titled “Graceful Leadership” with leadership lessons inspired by her dog, Grace. She holds a B.S. in Communications from Virginia Tech and a Masters of Organizational Management from University of Phoenix Online.

Melissa attended Wilson College with a major in veterinary technician medicine, earning a scholarship that resulted from her community service done for animals in Monadnock region. She worked 15 years as a surgery tech at a animal hospital, and has been teaching and training dogs for 16 years. In 2004, she started ColdSprings Farm and has been donating and placing pups to working homes ever since. There are countless success stories of life-altering outcomes that have resulted from Melissa's work with dogs and people.

How do the dogs fit in?

Animals have an extraordinary level of inituition and can help us learn things about ourselves that we may not see as easily on our own. These highly trained and experienced therapy dogs provide a safe and inviting atmosphere for which we can learn and see our own behavioral traits. Prior experience with dogs is definitely not needed in order to fully benefit from this workshop.

Preparation for the day
In preparation for this exciting day of learning, you will be asked to complete an online assessment prior to attending.

The Profiles Performance Indicator will provide a wealth of personal information that allows you to have a complete understanding of your leadership style. The assessment takes approximately 20 minutes to complete. In addition to reviewing the results the day of the training, you will receive detailed reports and support materials so this information will continue to be valuable long after the workshop.

Still have questions? I'd love to hear from you.
