World TB Day: TB in Texas

Each year, we commemorate World Tuberculosis (TB) Day on March 24 to raise public awareness about the devastating health, social and economic consequences of TB, and to step up efforts to end the global TB epidemic. Join our TB experts as they discuss epidemiological TB trends in Texas and migrant populations; state laboratory updates and innovations on the horizon; TB in vulnerable populations; TB initiatives in Texas; and the importance of providing patient-centered care for improved healthcare outcomes.

This webcast is intended for physicians, nurses, and other healthcare personnel who are involved in TB care and prevention eff orts. This activity will provide participants with the newest information on current recommendations for the diagnosis and treatment of TB. TB experts from the fi eld will share strategies to deal with the challenges of managing and monitoring patients with TB and explore approaches for using patient-centered care to ensure successful outcomes.
