Essentials of TB Nurse Case Management Online

The goal of this course is to provide participants with essential knowledge and skills for TB case management to improve clinical outcomes. This course will be web-based via Canvas and Microsoft TEAMS and will include pre-recorded presentations with interactive discussions and case studies. Participants will have ample time for questions and answers.

This course is intended for nurses and public health staff who are actively engaged in the identification, case management, and treatment of patients with tuberculosis (TB) infection or disease. Upon course completion, participants will be able to describe the role of the nurse case manager in identifying individuals with TB, identify strategies for management of TB, describe the regimens for management of TB, describe the differences in treatment regimens for patients with TB, and discuss approaches for multidisciplinary collaboration with partners who work with TB patients.
