NEWTON YOUTH SUMMIT

Mayor Setti Warren invites you to attend the Newton Youth Summit on October 11, 2012 from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m.

The Youth Summit is a chance to hear from and talk to our teens about what they are thinking, feeling, and experiencing.  In addition to formal opening remarks, the Summit will include one-hour, facilitated, small group, breakout sessions to allow participants to delve into topics more deeply.   Sessions will include developing responses to “What can adults do to help?” and “What can the community do to help?”  The object of this first summit is to come away with action items around which the adults and community can engage.   Listen.  Learn.  Connect.  Understand.  Have a positive impact on the well being of youth in our city by participating in this community event.  Teens and adults are invited to attend!
