Pathway To Licensure 2014

The Lifeline Campaign (LLC), through the efforts of your NJAMFT Pre-Clinical Fellow Representatives (PCF), proudly introduce our first annual community building project with this year's event entitled: “Pathway To Licensure 2014.”

Pathway to Licensure 2014 is the result of a multitude of complaints that students, both current and graduate, have been facing for many years.  Students consistently report of struggles resulting from limited knowledge of the mechanics of obtaining temporary licensing and what preparations are needed for licensure. This workshop is designed to assist students, graduates and supervisors with forming a clear path to licensure.

Learning objectives for the workshop include:

  • Temporary permit
  • Permit holders responsibilities
  • Licensure requirements
  • Breakdown of licensure hours
  • Exam Information

Special Guest:

NJAMFT Legislative Chair, Rhoda Ondov MFT, will review NJAMFT’s legislative and regulatory efforts on behalf of the profession. Ms. Ondov will describe the benefits these efforts have brought, and explain the importance of advocacy for all members. Legislative process and advocacy actions will be explained so that each attendee will learn details of how they can help make a difference for the MFT profession.

In addition, a special session entitled "Ask a Board Member " will offer an open forum enabling students the opportunity to ask a Representative of the State Board of Marriage & Family Therapy Examiners, pertinent questions relative to the MFT profession.

This workshop is intended to aid all students facing the myriad issues confronting them as they pursues their career. Registration is easy, just click on the button below and you can pay with either credit card or by mail in check.  We will also have vendors on hand to display their wares.

*For the complete "Agenda At A Glance" please click here: Pathway To Licensure Agenda

Registration Fees:  Registration is just $15.00 for AAMFT Members and $20.00 for Non-Members. Refreshments will be served and lunch is on your own.
