The World Affairs Council of Atlanta, together with CARE USA, the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) and McKinsey Social Initiative, is organizing our sixth annual Atlanta Summit on Global Health: Focus on Women and Adolescent Girls. The 2017 Atlanta Summit will leverage Atlanta's special assets - from government officials to experts from the CDC, the NGO sector, business, and universities -- and combine them with national/international policy leaders and experts to highlight the health problems which have a disparate impact on women and young girls, particularly in low income countries.

Panels on:

Making Sense of the Diverse Influences on a Young Woman's Life
Is a Major US Push on Adolescent Girls and Young Women Feasible?
Better Results Through Better Data, Research, and Operational Knowledge

Keynote Speeches from:

Anne Schuchat, MD, (RADM, USPHS), Acting Director, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)

Michelle Nunn, Chief Executive Officer, CARE

Mayor Kasim Reed, City of Atlanta
