Pre-Hospital Registered Nurse (PHRN) to Paramedic 

This online course will be for individuals who have the Pre-Hospital Registered Nurse (PHRN) certification and want to bridge over and gain their National Registry Paramedic licence. 

Entry Requirements:

• Current RN licence that has not expired.
• Currently working as an RN in an emergency or critical care setting.
• Has obtained and currently holds the PHRN certification.
• NREMT Paramedic cognitive exam taken and passed within the past 2 years.  

Once participant has successfully completed the course requirements, they are eligible to sit for the national registry at the paramedic level for psychomotor skills testing.  Upon passing this assessment, the participant will be a nationally register paramedic.
