Week of October 20 (Tuesday - Friday) 

from 3:00 - 4:00 pm

FOR STUDENTS IN GRADES 4-8

Lots of tools for you to use as you do your research or engineering project!

Hands on activities using common household items will be facilitated online (Zoom) by staff at Explora to help you understand the process of inquiry, choose a topic, and begin to put your project plan together!

Day 1 topics ~  engaging with phenomena and understanding what makes a good, testable question

Day 2 topics - designing an experiment around the question that is being tested 

Day 3 topics - practice in writing and following clear procedures

Day 4 topics - useful presentation skills

Certificate of Participation upon completion. Limited to 30 students.

PLEASE NOTE that each registrant MUST have an active & distinct email address (can't use same email for more than 1 registration).

 List of supplies needed and Zoom meeting link will be sent after registration. Instruction begins PROMPTLY at 3 pm! Participants should log in a few minutes early to ensure they are connected and equipment is working properly.
