2nd Calcutt Scholastic Blitz Championship- MIDDLE and HIGH SCHOOL 

The Calcutt Scholastic Blitz is an  open scholastic tournament for children in middle school or high school.  It also is celebration of the culmination of the RI SCHOLASTIC CHESS LEAGUE season.  All participants in the RI SCHOLASTIC CHESS LEAGUE can participate in this tournament free of charge.  Those who did not participate in the league may participate with an entry fee of $5.  No USCF membership is required.

League trophies will be presented at this event plus a trophy to the BLITZ champion.

Please bring chess clock if you own one.

DOOR REGISTRATION: At the door $5 entry fee. 11:00-11:30 AM. Round 1 starts at 11:30 AM. Others on completion of each round. Pre-registered players should confirm no later than 11:15AM.  Tournament play will last until approximately 12:30pm when awards will be presented.

ADVANCE REGISTRATION: Online entry fee $5- free for league players.  Southeast New England Chess Association is a non-profit organization.
