5th Annual Dartmouth Rotary Scholastic Chess Tournament
The Dartmouth Rotary Scholastic Tournament is a scholastic chess tournament for children in grades K-12. Trophies will be awarded to the top players in each section. Join us for the fun and competition!
FORMAT: 4SS, G/25 d/5, Two USCF rated sections and two unrated sections*
-OPEN (Rated section: USCF membership required**)
-UNDER 700 (Rated section: USCF membership required**)
-UNRATED (No membership required)
-NOVICE (No membership required)
* Note: section categories have been changed to better reflect the community of scholastic tournament players. If you have any questions about which section is right for your child please email Eduardo at epaguag@gmail.com

Trophies will be awarded to the top three players in each section.
Sections may be combined or split at the discretion of the director. This is a 4 round tournament but a small section may have to play 3. Full point byes may apply in odd-numbered sections and ½ point byes are available in any round pending early notification to the tournament director. Please bring chess clock if you own one.
DOOR REGISTRATION: At the door $15 entry fee. 9:00-9:45 AM. Round 1 starts at 10:00 AM. Others on completion of each round. Pre-registered players should confirm no later than 9:45AM. Unrated sections will finish around 12:30, Others around 1:30.
ADVANCE REGISTRATION: Online entry fee $10. Southeast New England Chess Association is a non-profit organization.
