Why

In 2011, the Infant Welfare Society of Chicago marked its centennial of service to the city’s women and children in need.

From its earliest days in 1911 when it provided a safe source of milk for babies in the midst of spiraling mortality rates, the Infant Welfare Society of Chicago has consistently and effectively responded to the changing needs of its patients.

Today, the Angel Harvey Infant Welfare Society of Chicago Community Health Center provides care for over 12,000 women and children each year.
