You are Invited!

We are SO excited about this year's Holiday Party & Silent Charity Auction, "WMCMA GIVES BACK!" Please join us for a holiday luncheon and an afternoon of giving, good will, appreciation as we end the current year and prepare for the new year.

Each year, the WMCMA members select a local charity in need. We then collect gift baskets and sponsored items from WMCMA members and friends to use for our silent auction. 100% of the silent auction proceeds are given to the WMCMA 2017 Charity Recipient.

WMCMA Members have voted and the 2017 WMCMA Charity is Project Access NW!

Project Access NW provides innovative and much needed services to the most vulnerable in our community, serving a diverse patient population across King, Snohomish and Kitsap Counties. Project Access provides care coordination services to individuals who are uninsured or underinsured so that they can access much needed specialty care--even knee replacement surgery! They provide services with dignity and fill a gap in medical services much needed in our community. Our Health Home program also provides innovative evidence-based services to clients with chronic medical conditions who need assistance in navigating the complex health and social services system. This patient-centered model helps us reach clients who have significant social determinants of health that might not otherwise receive support, including individuals experiencing homelessness, severe mental health, addiction, and other debilitating conditions. Our mission is access to health care and we have done case management for more than 43,000 people in 11 years. We partner with more than 1700 volunteer providers to donate care to our patients through every major hospital and hospital system in the region. Our patients have a 2-5% no-show rate due to our efforts compared to a typical 30-40% for this population. They are offered services in more than 40 specialties including oncology, neurology and cardiology - this is often lifesaving care. Our management includes helping them access all necessary labs and imaging (free of charge), all services, follow up appointments and coordination with their primary care physician. All hospital fees and ancillary services are also donated. Our case management allows people to return to their lives free of pain and illness.
