Research has found that we don’t actually “go to sleep” but rather sleep comes to us when we are ready. The demands of the present day fast-paced high-pressure living is creating more and more sleep problems resulting in a host of mental, physical, and emotional problems.
Outcomes: The Superior Sleep Workshop provides people the skill of allowing sleep to occur NATURALLY and as a result they tend to sleep longer, feel more refreshed in the morning and stay more focused throughout the day.
Description: This 4-hour workshop provides participants with a set of techniques proven to facilitate getting to sleep, returning to sleep if waking after a few hours, and learning to stay asleep for 8 hours. The mechanics of sleep are explored to help participants gain the skill of getting the proper kind of sleep commonly referred to as REM (Rapid Eye Movement) sleep.
Participants will also be taught a simple 5-minute technique for recovering energy in the afternoon when most people experience the “lull” around 2:00. This workshop draws upon the latest techniques being developed in the area of Neuro-Linguistic Programming or NLP.

Dr. Smith is president of Dresher Group Inc., which specializes in developing and delivering curriculum related to organizational development, leadership, negotiation, emotional energy management, inter-cultural management, advanced stress management, sleep improvement, and conflict resolution.
Dr. Smith is a certified Clinical Hypnotherapist and is a practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming and Emotional Freedom Technique. He conducts workshops in Emotional Energy Management and Advanced Sleep Techniques. He specializes in helping people release unexplained pain and removing addictions.
Bill holds a Doctor of Philosophy (D.Phil.) in Religion and Society Studies, with an emphasis in Leadership, from Oxford Graduate School. He also holds a Masters in Adult Education from Troy State University in Alabama, and a Bachelor of Science in Music Education from the University of Delaware. Bill also holds a black belt in Goju Ryu karate. Dr. Smith is licensed by the Pastoral Medical Association.
