Twenty year old Emily Bowman, a resident of Woodstock, GA and student at Kennesaw State University was a victim of a suspected DUI hit and run accident in Athens, GA while walking on February 16, 2013.

After being in a coma for three weeks, Emily was moved to the Shepherd Center March 8, 2013 and then to another inpatient rehab at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta/Scottish Rite. Emily is now recovering at home. She has undergone several surgeries and has more to undergo due to her critical injuries with the hope that she will
continue the healing process.

As you can imagine, the medical bills and costs to save Emily and continue her care are excessive. The Emily Bowman Medical Fund was set up at Wells Fargo Bank to help the Bowman family defray these costs.
