Technology's Impact in American History 2019: Technological Innovation and Patents

Participants will examine primary sources from the Library of Congress and the USPTO on the history of the government’s role in shaping technology and promoting innovation. Selected teachers will work under the guidance of a colloquium team to examine and develop classroom applications based on available primary sources. $500 stipend provided.
