As a Managing Director of RBC Capital Markets and senior member of RBC's research team, Neil is responsible for the Canadian real estate and related sectors. With more than 18 years' experience and more than 30 REITs and REOCs in his coverage universe, Neil has significant breadth and depth of knowledge of the real estate sector. His research is highly valued by institutional investors, who have consistently ranked him highly in industry surveys. In addition, Neil is Associate Head of Canadian Research. In this role, he plays a crucial role in the department's model portfolios, helps coordinate department-wide research reports and provides support on tactical and stategic initiatives. Prior to joining RBC Capital Markets in 1996, Neil spent five years with Ernst & Young Canada as a senior staff accountant in the financial services and capital markets groups. Neil achieved his Bachelor of Commerce at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario and is a CFA Charterholder.
