Speaker Biography

Henry ShenDirector - BlackRock

Henry Shen, Director, is a senior investment strategist within BlackRock's Systematic Active Equity (SAE) group. He is responsible for the growth of SAE's investment platform, with primary focuses on China-A, Asia Pacific, and Global Equity strategies.

Prior to his current role, Mr. Shen was a member of BlackRock's Asia ex-Japan Institutional Client Business group, responsible for developing and maintaining institutional relationships with clients and prospects in Taiwan and China.

Before joining BlackRock in 2012, Mr. Shen was a researcher at the Duke Medical Center and the University's Department of Biomedical Engineering. He is a published author for the Journal of Biomechanics.

Mr. Shen studied Biomedical Engineering and Economics, and received a Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree from Duke University.
