As the world of work continues to shift, we are all in search of new ideas, updated approaches, and best practices to get things done. And oftentimes the best ideas come from our peers. Furthermore, we continue to hear from our members that we all want ways to network and connect with others during these isolating times, sharing ideas and insights on topics that still challenge us as leaders and professionals.
So…
We're joining our friends over at The Performance Excellence Network to host an online webinar discussion on Thursday, December 2: “Staffing Challenges, Managing Change, and Work/Life Balance.” This will be a “speakerless” discussion that consists of three “lightening rounds” of self-moderated sharing and learning from each other!
The three topics were carefully selected using feedback from the last three months’ PEN webinar surveys. They are the three most often mentioned challenges that we all face:
- Navigating Staffing Challenges — ways to address the severer staffing challenges most organizations are facing through better recruiting, innovative partnerships, and techniques to promote engagement and retention.
- Managing Change — how to manage the pace of change, disruptions and frequent shifting of priorities. How to keep team members engaged in — and resilient to — what seems to be accelerating change.
- Work/Life Balance — finding harmony in balancing the challenges and commitments of our professional and personal lives, managing stress (especially during the holidays and continued challenges of the pandemic), and avoiding professional burnout.
WCPE/PEN will provide a simple process to help facilitate the dialogue, but largely the session will be organic, allowing participants to contribute and connect in whatever way is meaningful to them. Each discussion topic will last approximately 15 minutes, providing an opportunity to learn from others in and outside your industry.
The discussion will provide an opportunity for sharing, learning, networking (and all-important professional connection).
This session is Thursday, December 2 from 8:00-9:00 CT (no speed networking this time, since the whole session is networking!), using Zoom MEETING. Grab your coffee and breakfast, and join us for a rich discussion. Free for PEN/WCPE members; $20 for non-members.
