Dress up in your finest and brightest and escape the last grey days of winter for a world of color at The Textile Museum.  Visit the exhibition Colors of the Oasis: Central Asian Ikats before it closes March 13 and encounter jewel-toned, lush ikat (pronounced “ee-kaht”) garments made in Central Asia—a source of inspiration for many contemporary designers today. Enjoy inspired food, happy-hour priced drinks amidst music in the garden and galleries. Dive into the world of the Silk Road through gallery tours, a scavenger hunt (with prizes!) and hands-on art. Fee: $15 per person (includes one drink).
