We have a lot of different native trees in our county, and many of them are cone-bearing "conifer" trees. Want to learn how we root them out and identify them?
On Sunday, June 23rd, join us and learn about our county's native conifer trees from mountain tops to rivers and sagebrush. This naturalist walk entails a walk-about searching for these trees.
Learn about our native trees in a short classroom session and a walk about searching for trees known by an aliases.
Participants will have the opportunity to develop a pocket guide to some of our native trees and learn why we find trees where we do and make a pocket ruler.
