Celebrating U.S. and Canadian Agricultural Trade

On behalf of the Canada-U.S. Grain and Seed Trade Task Group, please join us for a symposium and reception celebrating U.S. and Canadian agricultural trade.

The Canadian Embassy, North American Export Grain Association, and the National Grain and Feed Association are co-hosting the afternoon event at the Canadian Embassy.

It kicks off with a symposium from 2-4 p.m., which will provide an update on U.S. and Canada grain and seed trade and cover topics such as:

  • A current assessment of cross border trade;
  • Trade progress and policy report from the Canada-U.S. Task Group; and
  • An update on related trade policies from Canadian and U.S. government officials.

Following the symposium, you’re invited to stay for a networking reception from 4-6 p.m. There you’ll have an opportunity to meet with presenters and attendees from the industry.

The event is free, but registration is required no later than Friday, March 22.

Event Logistics

  • Parking is extremely limited. There is a lot at 601 Pennsylvania Ave NW (the entrance is off 6th St, just before C St). The Newseum, which is next door, often has valet parking.
  • The closest Metros are Archives (yellow and green lines) and Judiciary Square (red line).
  • To enter, look for a grey stone portico – the Embassy’s main entrance.
  • Guests must have a government-issued picture ID (e.g., driver's license).
  • All bags will be screened.
