PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT SERIES - Intentional Major Gift Conversations
with Meg and Phil George from George Development
Meg and Phil will role play both an identification/qualification meeting as well as a major gift solicitation meeting to give the group real-life talking points for navigating each of these types of discussions. They will leave the group with important takeaways in regards to gathering information and preparing for these meetings, as well as reacting to and overcoming road blocks or difficult conversation points, including examples of ethical questions to pose. There will be opportunities to ask the Georges specific questions about making in-person asks, and they will share some of their experiences, too. The focus will be on being intentional in major gift work — and using these skills to build more high capacity relationships and solicit more major gifts.

The fine print:
- The Flex-Pass must be purchased by a current AFPWNY member.
- Anyone from the Member pass-holder's organization/department/office may use the pass to attend luncheons.
- The Member pass-holder should provide notice of who will be using a Flex Pass to attend a luncheon session by the early bird registration deadline.
- We ask that Flex Passes be redeemed in full during a single luncheon season (September through May)
There is no limit to the number of Flex Passes that you can buy during a year.
