The San Diego Chapter of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) will host a special event with Facebook’s Head of IR, Deborah Crawford, on the evening of March 12, 2013. The program will feature a fireside chat with Deborah and Karen Fisher, Past President of the NIRI San Diego Board, discussing Deborah’s IR experience at Facebook following one of the world’s most sought-after Initial Public Offerings. Specifically, the discussion is expected to cover the overall management of Facebook’s visibility in the investment community, oversight of investor communications at one of the most visible and interesting companies in the world, and how Facebook maintains its critical relationships with investors and analysts.

Deborah joined Facebook just after their IPO in May 2012 and is currently leading their investor relations efforts. Prior to joining Facebook, Deborah led the investor relations team at Netflix for over eight years.
