Erickson Alumni Center
The WVU Corporate Social Responsibility class was designed to teach future business leaders the value of contributing to society and the community. Dr. Joyce Heames leads the program, which has awarded more than $200,000 to worthy local community projects in northern West Virginia since 2001. This funding comes from alumni and friends of the College who recognize the importance of corporate philanthropy.
Each semester, we receive requests well in excess of the available $20,000, and this year is no exception. We have developed judging criteria and are currently in the process of reviewing applications. Grants will be awarded to winners at the event.
