Meet the Spirits of Nature - Nine Mile Burn
An Introduction to Shamanism and the Spirits of the Land
This workshop is suitable for beginners as well as people who already have some experience of shamanic practice.
It will include
- introduction to the shamanic universe
- learning and practice of journeying skills
- finding a spirit ally
- working with nature to meet the elements and the spirits of the land
We will use a beautiful outdoors location which has been well looked after by the people who live there. We'll meet in the tipi, and be very much nature-based.
The venue will be on a small farm in a lovely part of the Scottish countryside 14 miles from Edinburgh City Centre at Nine Mile Burn. It is easily accessible by car and bus from Edinburgh.
The workshop will be run by Ken Fisher and Morag McDonald who will draw upon their experience of working with people and nature. We are looking forward to being with the people, the spirits and the land at Nine Mile Burn.

Nine Mile Burn (non-residential, there may be camping space on site)
Travel
Car: Nine Mile Burn is on the A702, about 10 miles from the centre of Edinburgh
Bus: 100/101 from Edinburgh on Saturday. On Sunday 37 from Edinburgh to Penicuik, then you can be picked up by car.
