NORTHERN & SOUTHERN DIVISIONS - JOINT FALL MEETING, Wednesday, November 11, 2020

The Southern Textile Association is pleased to announce its plans for the Joint Fall Meeting of the Northern & Southern Divisions being held virtually Wednesday, November 11, 2020 from 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM.  Following the meeting plan to stay for a little longer to network.   I hope you will plan to participate.

Susan Roberts, PhD
Professor of Political Science

Davidson College

Presentation:

"ELECTION 2020:  Unique?  Yes.
Resolved?  Maybe"

Susan Roberts teaches courses in Congress, the Presidency, Parties & Interest Groups, Campaign Strategy and Public Policy.

Her research includes work on activism on reproductive policy, interest groups, political capital and hashtag politics, among others.

Roberts is an experienced commentator on radio and TV, appearing frequently on WFAE Charlotte Public Radio, WUNC NC Public Radio, NPR, Spectrum TV, WSOC, WCNC, BBC and FOX 46.

She has published op-eds in the Washington Post and been quoted in The Charlotte Observer, The Charlotte Post, CSM, NPR, Reuters’, Politico, among others. I worked with WBT Radio for a number of years as a weekly contributor.

Roberts was recently the recipient of the Diane Blair Award from the Southern Political Science Association “presented biennially to a political scientist who has played an outstanding role in politics and/or government during his or her career.”
