Kaitlan Hammock
Loan Assistant in the Community Lending Department at CDC Small Business Finance, actively works with small business owners to help them with their financing and technical assistance needs. With an emphasis on sustained relationships and continued support, Ms. Hammock educates clients about basic eligibility requirements for financing, giving business owners the tools they need to successfully pursue business financing. Kaitlan understands the challenges that many small business owners experience as they seek to increase sales revenues, keep costs to a minimum, and boost staff motivation through tough financial times. With a degree in Anthropology and proficient in two languages, she brings a unique perspective on community development, and she enjoys opportunities to utilize her skills and experiences to help local small business owners.
Susan Lamping
is a Senior Community Loan Officer at CDC Small Business Finance and acts as the liaison for the technical assistance needs of small businesses in San Diego County. In partnership with local banks in San Diego, she assists borrowers in acquiring SBA loan products which are specifically designed to make credit more accessible to entrepreneurs. Her responsibilities also include coordinating the business consulting needs of CDC's community loan borrowers and monitoring their businesses.
Paul Sipe
has over thirty years in the commercial banking business. He organized and started two locally owned banks in the east San Diego County. He also has a diverse background in commercial, industrial and residential real estate, including sales, leasing and financing. He has his own consulting business, specializing in construction financing, mergers and acquisitions, long-term leasing and turn-around evaluations. He served as a NASD arbitrator for over twelve years and has an above average knowledge of the securities business. Paul joined SCORE in July 2007.
John Wham is a graduate electrical engineer with approximately 25 years’ experience in design and development of both military and commercial systems, beginning as an entry-level engineer and culminating as the Chief Engineer of a major division of a large electronics company. John co-founded a software development company and was in charge of product design and development. The company’s software products included a distributed project management system, regulation-compliant security system, and a sales force automation system, which became the flagship product of the company during the last 10 years of operation. He also served as President of the company for 4 years leading up to the time it was sold.
