2018 Freedom 5K and 1K Kids Run 

 The event was started in 2005 in an effort to raise money for the new St. Germain Bike and Hike trail. Last year race officials presented a check to the Bike and Hike Committee in the amount of $4,650.00, bringing the eleven year total to $33,332.00. Funds raised in this year's event will be used for maintenance and future improvements of the 12 mile, family-friendly paved trail. The trail runs throughout St. Germain and connects bicyclists and pedestrians with an additional 15 miles of trails to the Sayner and Boulder Junction areas.
