11th ANNUAL

Marit Liv Peterson Fund for Melanoma Research Golf Fundraiser

Benefiting Melanoma Research at M. D. Anderson Cancer Center

Hi! It's me, Marit Peterson. Please join me on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 for my 11th Annual tournament. My mom and "Doppy" have been running this amazing event since I was a toddler. Now that I'm 13, I'm joining them as a co-chair. So, SIGN UP TODAY, so I don't look bad :D

This tournament is entirely underwritten by my family allowing 100% of your "entry fee" donation to directly support melanoma research at M. D. Anderson Cancer Center. To date, more than $1.5 million has been raised and is responsible for some fantastic advancements in melanoma research!

As a reminder, $250 tax-deductible "Entry Fee" donation includes:

  • On-site melanoma screening by M. D. Anderson (They saved my life and a few of you golfers over the years!)
  • Round of golf for one (But, who does that? Sign up for a team!)
  • Cart and Driving Range
  • Swag bag
  • Lunch (By my friend Chef Gene)
  • Dinner and Silent Auction (With a video by me)
  • Keynote Speaker Presentation (Dr. Lee ROCKS!)

Hole Sponsorships:
$2,000 - $10,000 sponsorships include a gourmet sponsor dinner by Executive Chef Gene Christiano with special guests Dr. Jeffrey E. Lee and Marit Peterson. Dinner to be held on Monday, October 9th at 6pm.

Not a Golfer? Join Us For Dinner:
Make a $100 tax-deductible donation and attend the silent auction, dinner and keynote speaker presentation.

Look what we've accomplished together:
The Marit Peterson Fund for Melanoma Research, along with additional support from the National Cancer Institute’s SPORE Program (Specialized Programs of Research Excellence) and the National Institute of Health’s CIDR Program (Center for Inherited Disease Research) has grown into a $10 million dollar global study. It represents the single largest and highest quality melanoma study of its kind in the world!
