Fall Festival Chili Cook-off Contest

4:00 - 6:00 pm

       Enter your famous chili in the annual chili cook-off!  Pull out all the stops and all your secret ingredients. 

       Prepare a crock-pot of your best chili and bring it to the festival between 3:30-4:00 pm on Saturday, October 19.   We will have the tasting cups and spoons, as well as cornbread.  The tasting and voting will take place from 4:00-6:00pm, and the winner will be announced at just between 6:30 - 7:00 pm. 

      The winner receives an apron and gift card, but more importantly a year's worth of bragging rights for having the parish's best chili!

     The festival will have brats, burgers & dogs as well as all the fixin's.  This year we'll have petting zoo, crafts, cake walk, Kona Ice Truck, games, bounce house, music, bonfire, and of course we'll tune in and project football games on the big screen.   The festival begins officially at 2pm and runs throughout the afternoon and evening.  Overnight camping is encouraged!
